Journal_Week 5

I have yet to finish the assignment on citing annotations. I now know to check what the assignment is before the day it is due. I will post the rest of my blog tomorrow.

Journal_Week 4

Wow, I have had a lot of trouble finishing assignments the past two weeks because of interent connection, but luckily this one will be on time. The assignments for week four have been helpful to me because I now know where to look and what to look for when researching my topic on The War on Drugs issue. I really thought the last assignment, Selecting Information Sources, was a big help. I think I am ready to start really researching and maybe even start writing my report.

Journal_Week 3

I have had a lot of trouble getting my work done because of internet issues. I did't have trouble with the assignemnts. I enjoyed the assignments because it gave me information on how to search for reliable sources when writing a report.

Journal_Week 2

I used a lot of the links from the classroom to complete the assignments. I googled for the library assignment. It was a lot of reading and a lot of researching. I tried using a few websites on the libraries sight, but I got confused even more.

This weeks assignments made me research more on a topic than I have ever done in the past. Usually I just google it. I like knowing that distance learners have all the same resources as a on campus student. I have learned that it takes more than reading one article to understand the topic, and to get other perspectives.

Basic

I am a full time college student, and a single Mom of three. This is actually one of our assignment, create a blog. I love school and can't wait to get done with the Medical Assistant program. This is the first time I have ever done a blog so I hope I am doing this right.
